何志海 IEEE會(huì)士 南方科技大學(xué)電子系 講席教授
何教授曾就職美國密蘇里大學(xué)電子工程系18年,，離任前為該系終身正教授和Robert Lee Tatum 杰出講席教授,。在美國工作期間,，承擔(dān)了十多項(xiàng)美國國家科學(xué)基金 (NSF),、國家衛(wèi)生研究院 (NIH)重點(diǎn)研究項(xiàng)目,。目前研究方向?yàn)樯疃葘W(xué)習(xí),、機(jī)器視覺,、人工智能物聯(lián)網(wǎng) (AIoT),。入選斯坦福大學(xué)全球頂級(jí)科學(xué)家（World's Top 2% Scientists）終身科學(xué)影響力排行榜和2019年度科學(xué)影響力排行榜。

研究簡(jiǎn)介
何教授曾擔(dān)任多個(gè)國際期刊的編委編輯,，包括IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technologies; IEEE Transactions on Multimedia 和Journal of Visual Communication and Image Representation,。任2007國際無線多媒體會(huì)議的共同主席，IEEE視頻處理技術(shù)委員會(huì)委員,， IEEE多媒體技術(shù)委員會(huì)委員,，和多個(gè)國際會(huì)議的分會(huì)主席。在頂尖國際期刊和國際會(huì)議上發(fā)表論文150多篇,。他的主要研究成果包括：建立了圖像視頻壓縮通信系統(tǒng)的統(tǒng)一碼率控制模型,； 第一個(gè)把信息論中的香儂率失真（R-D)模型拓展到能量域（P)，建立了P-R-D模型,，用于移動(dòng)視頻設(shè)備的能耗優(yōu)化,；最早提出和研究視覺感應(yīng)器網(wǎng)絡(luò)；并廣泛應(yīng)用于健康監(jiān)控,、戰(zhàn)場(chǎng)情報(bào),、野生動(dòng)物跟蹤、環(huán)境保護(hù)等領(lǐng)域,。
研究方向：智能網(wǎng)絡(luò)物理系統(tǒng),、機(jī)器學(xué)習(xí)、計(jì)算機(jī)視覺,、無線傳感器網(wǎng)絡(luò),、嵌入式多媒體系統(tǒng)設(shè)計(jì)、圖像/視頻壓縮,。
