Zhang Wenyong教授為南方科技大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院副院長、教授,,博士生導(dǎo)師,。他畢業(yè)于美國Bowdoin College,,獲生物化學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位,。之后獲得美國國立衛(wèi)生院醫(yī)學(xué)科學(xué)家培養(yǎng)基金,進(jìn)入著名的“康奈爾醫(yī)學(xué)院,、洛克菲勒大學(xué),、斯隆凱特琳癌癥中心—三校MD-PhD Program”攻讀醫(yī)學(xué)博士和生物學(xué)博士雙學(xué)位,于2004年以優(yōu)異成績畢業(yè),,獲得The Herman L. Jacobius 病理學(xué)獎,。在攻讀生物學(xué)博士期間,在何大一醫(yī)學(xué)博士實驗室,,從事HIV DNA疫苗的研發(fā)工作,,獲得Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation Student Award。醫(yī)學(xué)院畢業(yè)后他在康奈爾大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院紐約長老會醫(yī)院病理系接受了病理學(xué)的住院醫(yī)師培訓(xùn),,并獲得了紐約州的行醫(yī)執(zhí)照,。隨后他到休斯頓貝勒醫(yī)學(xué)院、MD安德森癌癥研究中心,、德州兒童醫(yī)學(xué)中心進(jìn)行了分子病理學(xué)的進(jìn)修,。他分別在西奈山醫(yī)學(xué)院任病理系分子病理實驗室副主任,及紐約醫(yī)學(xué)院附屬醫(yī)院病理系任分子病理實驗室主任,。在分子病理學(xué)的研究成果發(fā)表在《Journal of Clinical Oncology》,、《American Journal of Pathology》、《Modern Pathology》,、《Blood》等雜志上,。他有豐富的教學(xué)經(jīng)驗,在西奈山醫(yī)學(xué)院和紐約醫(yī)學(xué)院分別教授醫(yī)學(xué)院學(xué)生,、病理系住院醫(yī)師,、分子病理進(jìn)修醫(yī)生不同層次的病理學(xué)課程,并負(fù)責(zé)指導(dǎo)分子病理進(jìn)修醫(yī)生的科研工作,。為深圳市孔雀計劃B類人才,,國家科技庫專家、教育部科技管理信息系統(tǒng)專家?guī)鞂<?、廣東省科技廳專家,、深圳市科創(chuàng)委重大項目評審專家、北京4P健康研究院理事及專家委員會委員等,。

ZHANG WENYONG教授證明了利用融合基因方法,,使得抗原靶向進(jìn)入樹突狀細(xì)胞可以增強HIV DNA疫苗的活性。他在AIDS領(lǐng)域的研究讓他獲得了Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation Student Award,,研究發(fā)表在Science,、Vaccine、JAIDS等雜志上,。他研發(fā)了針對多個癌癥靶向基因的簡易,、高效、精確的檢測方法,,包括BRAFV600E, MPLW515L/K, EWSR1/ATF1, EWSR1/CREB1, JAK2V617F等,。在分子病理學(xué)的研究成果發(fā)表在《Journal of Clinical Oncology》、《American Journal of Pathology》,、《Modern Pathology》,、《Blood》等雜志上。
