李才恒, 講席教授。研究領(lǐng)域包括代數(shù)組合數(shù)學(xué)和置換群論,。1997年畢業(yè)于西澳大利亞大學(xué),,獲博士學(xué)位,。1998年國(guó)際組合數(shù)學(xué)及其應(yīng)用協(xié)會(huì)Kirkman獎(jiǎng)?wù)?。曾任澳大利亞?guó)家伊莉莎白二世研究員,,美國(guó)Ohio州立大學(xué)終身教職,,南開(kāi)大學(xué)講席教授(兼職),,云南大學(xué)特聘教授(兼職),北京大學(xué)講席教授,,和西澳大學(xué)講座教授,。
他在置換群論和代數(shù)圖論方向做出了開(kāi)創(chuàng)性的貢獻(xiàn),是國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)帶頭人,。先后解決了多個(gè)世界著名的重要問(wèn)題,,包括關(guān)于包含交換正則子群的本原置換群的100年老的Burnside問(wèn)題。
