SELF-INTRODUCTION:
Personal Profile: Xingyin Liu is a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at the School of Medicine, Southern University of Science and Technology. In 2023, she was honored with the title of Outstanding Female Scientist by the Chinese Biophysical Society. In 2024, she was selected as one of the Most Influential and Popular Chinese Authors by Cell Press. Professor Liu currently serves as an Associate Editor or Editorial Board Member for several international journals, including Microbiological Research and iMeta, etc. She is also a reviewer and guest editor for over 30 international authoritative journals, such as Cell Host & Microbe, Gut, Cell Genomics, Cell Reports, Cell Reports Medicine, Microbiome, and Gut Microbes, etc. She has published nearly 60 SCI-indexed papers, with over 40 as the corresponding or first author in prestigious journals like Cell Host & Microbe, Cell Metabolism, Gut, Gut Microbes, Npj Biofilm & Microbiome, and Genome Medicine. Her two patents have been translated into clinical practice.
